MATERIALS & FINISHES
Two materials, nine finishes, dozens of colours.
Every Green & Grey pot starts as GRC or GRP, cast by hand in our own factory. Then it gets a finish: the texture and colour you see and touch. Here is what each one is like.
GRCGlass-reinforced concrete
Cement and fine aggregate reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fibre. It has the weight, coolness and natural, stony character of concrete, in a thinner and stronger wall.
- Natural stone-like look and feel
- Heavier and very stable outdoors, good for tall plants and windy spots
- Takes every finish we make, including glazed and terrazzo
Finishes: Paint, Raw, Rough, Linen, Stone, Glazed, Lacquered, Oxidation, Terrazzo
GRPGlass-reinforced polyester
Polyester resin reinforced with glass fibre. Much lighter than concrete, so it suits roof terraces, balconies, indoor spaces and pots you may want to move.
- Lightweight and easy to move
- Good for roofs, balconies and upper floors
- Not available in glazed or terrazzo

Each sample below is the same pot shape, so you can compare the textures side by side. Colours on screen are a guide; ask us for a physical sample before a large order.
01PaintGRC · GRP
A smooth, matte painted surface in solid colour. Clean, even and the most versatile of our finishes.

02RawGRC · GRP
The pot’s natural cast surface, coloured through, with its small pores and speckles left visible for an honest concrete look.

03RoughGRC · GRP
A hand-applied textured coat with a coarse, plaster-like feel that catches light and shadow.
8 colours
04LinenGRC · GRP
Fine horizontal lines combed into the surface for a soft, woven, fabric-like texture.
4 colours
05StoneGRC · GRP
A speckled finish with small flecks through the surface, inspired by natural stone.

06GlazedGRC ONLY
A high-gloss, ceramic-like coat with deep, rich colour. Made in GRC only.

07LacqueredGRC · GRP
A glossy lacquer over a softly mottled base, giving a glass-like depth to the colour.

08OxidationGRC · GRP
A hand-worked patina in rust, copper and verdigris tones. No two pots come out exactly the same.

09TerrazzoGRC ONLY
Stone chips set into the mix and polished back to reveal a speckled terrazzo surface. Made in GRC only.
